First Encounter at the Hong Kong Exhibition: A Trust and Expectation that Transcends Borders

The exhibition hall at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre was bustling with people, the sounds of conversations between merchants from various countries intermingling with the metallic sheen of watches in the display cases. As I was busy explaining the movement craftsmanship of our new mechanical watch to a client, a gentle voice came from behind me: "The quality of this mechanical watch is really good, it feels great in the hand."

I turned around and saw a man in a polo shirt carefully examining our classic business watch. He had a smile in the corner of his eyes, and his gaze was full of sincerity.I learned through an introduction that his name was Agung, and he was from Jakarta, Indonesia, where he was a local watch dealer. To my surprise, Agung was very knowledgeable about the watch industry, discussing everything from the scratch-resistant material of the watch crystal to the leather selection for the straps. He asked about every detail with professionalism and precision. After trying on a few watches, he couldn't stop praising them, saying, "Your quality control is excellent, more rigorous than several brands I've encountered before. Watches like these will definitely be popular in the Indonesian market!"

The more we talked, the more we clicked. When Agung mentioned he would be staying in China for five days, I immediately and enthusiastically invited him: "Mr. Agung, our factory is in Shenzhen, very close to Hong Kong. If you have time, you must come and take a look! Maybe there are some styles you'll be interested in." Agung's eyes lit up when he heard this, and he immediately agreed. To my surprise, he wasn't coming alone; he was accompanied by his wife and son. His wife was elegant and gentle, and his son was intelligent, well-behaved, and adorable. To have the opportunity to meet his family filled me with gratitude, knowing that it represented his great trust in us company.

Originally, I planned to take them for a walk around, but unfortunately, time was limited and their subsequent itinerary was tight, so this idea had to be put on hold for now. Even so, we still went to the factory together. During the visit, the cleanliness and tidiness of our watch factory left a deep impression on them, which also gave us more confidence in our own production management.

Happy times are always short, and soon it was time for them to catch their flight. As we parted, we all felt a little regretful about the brevity of this gathering, but more than that, we were happy and cherished this encounter.Looking forward to them visiting Shenzhen visiting our Foksy again in the near future, at which time we must stroll through the city together and fully appreciate its beauty and uniqueness.
