For more than 15 years, or rather since 2004, Frederique Constant has become a fully integrated manufacturer, designing, producing and assembling watches in Geneva. Self-sufficiency in technology and aesthetics has created countless opportunities for Frederique Constant’s mission since its founding in 1988, making luxury Swiss-made timepieces more accessible. The Slimline series is the crystallization of this vision. The latest model uses an ultra-thin case with a diameter of 38.8 mm and a subtle curved dial decorated with applied hour markers.
The Slimline series released in 2012 has achieved great success, and now Frederique Constant has launched three new and beautifully designed Slimline Moonphase Manufacture ultra-thin moon phase watches with its own movement. The white dial is equipped with central hour and minute hands, the moon phase window at 3 o’clock and the date indicator at 9 o’clock are symmetrically distributed on both sides, which is a model of balanced aesthetics. The bezel is set with 60 diamonds with a total weight of 0.46 carats.
Through the sapphire crystal case back, you can see the built-in FC-702 homemade movement, which can provide a power reserve of 38 hours, and is beautifully decorated with Geneva pattern and fish scale pattern. All models come with two straps, a caulked alligator strap, and a navy blue rubber strap-with the help of the “quick change” system, it can be replaced quickly.
Two watches have rose gold-plated cases, one with a blue-gray dial and the other with a silver dial. The slender central hand is plated with rose gold, and a third hand at 9 o’clock shows the date, which contrasts with the golden moon phase on the blue starry sky at 3 o’clock.
In addition to the two rose gold-plated watches, there is also a stainless steel watch. The smooth dial reflects the brilliance of the diamond-encrusted bezel, and the slightly curved stainless steel hands reflect the subtle curvature of the dial, which is low-key and dazzling. This watch comes with a dark blue alligator leather strap, which echoes the moon phase and the night sky. Like the predecessors in the Slimline Moonphase Manufacture’s own ultra-thin moon phase series, Frederique Constant is still committed to achieving all adjustment settings through a single crown at 3 o’clock to make it easy to use.
